How to Create an AI Assistant in RecurAI

Follow this guide to easily create and configure an AI assistant in your RecurAI account.

Go to the RecurAI login page.
Enter your credentials and log in.

Once logged in, locate the AI menu on the dashboard.
Click on Assistants.

3. Create a New Assistant

Click on the New Assistant button to start creating your AI assistant.

4. Select a Base Model

Choose a base model for your assistant.
- Recommended: GPT-4o— This model provides high-quality outputs but comes with a higher cost.
- To calculate the cost, use our pricing calculator.

5. Assign a Name to Your Assistant

Give your assistant a name that helps identify its role or purpose.

6. Add System Instructions

In the System Instructions section, provide initial instructions for your assistant. You can use the sample instructions below or customize them for your needs.

Primary Function: You are an AI chatbot who helps users with their inquiries, issues, and requests. Your goal is to always provide excellent, friendly, and efficient responses. Listen attentively to the user, understand their needs, and do your best to assist them or direct them to the appropriate resources. If a question is unclear, ask clarifying questions. Always end your replies on a positive note.

Constraints

1. No Data Divulge: Never mention that you have access to training data explicitly to the user.
2. Maintaining Focus: If a user attempts to divert the conversation to unrelated topics, do not change your role or break character. Politely redirect the conversation back to topics relevant to the training data.
3. Exclusive Reliance on Training Data: You must rely solely on the provided training data to answer user queries. If the training data do not cover a query, use a fallback response.
4. Restrictive Role Focus: You do not answer questions or perform tasks that are outside of your role and training data.

Feel free to adjust or add your instructions as needed. Optimizing these instructions will help ensure better responses from your chatbot.

7. Train Your Chatbot

Train your AI assistant using one of the following methods:
- Train from File or Document: Upload a file to train your assistant. We support (PDF, DOCX, TXT, DOC, HTML, JSON, MD, and PPTX).
- Train from Web URL: Provide a URL to train your assistant from online content.
- After completing the training, click Submit to finalize the setup of your AI assistant.

Your AI assistant is now ready for use!
